Ahh, spring! There is nothing quite like it in Alaska. For seven solid months we haven't set foot on solid ground. It's been dark, cold, and covered with snow. Now for the first time you can walk out and feel the heat of the sun on your cheek, hear the sound of life as the birds start to sing, and listen to the rivers rush as they thaw back to life... and if we are really lucky we might even get enough sun to brag and pretend we have a tan! It is Alaska after all, we've had 2ft. of snow 0 degrees even in May!
