Precious Cross of the Lord

A substantial and richly detailed Orthodox cross centered upon the Crucifixion of our Lord, with the Holy City of Jerusalem depicted in the background. The cross is divided into beautifully framed sections bearing words of prayer, including “Magnify, O my soul,” “Son of God,” and “Most Precious Cross of the Lord.”

Fine gilded borders surround the sacred inscriptions, giving the cross an almost architectural appearance and drawing attention to the prayers that encompass the Crucified Christ. The reverse bears an ancient prayer to Christ, who shone forth from the Virgin and made us sons of light.

Handcrafted in Russia in 925 sterling silver with gold plating and finely blackened details.
