Icons of the Alaska Saints

Orthodoxy came to Alaska in 1794, and the North has given the Church a family of saints. Here are their icons: St. Herman of Alaska, the gentle monk of Spruce Island; St. Innocent, Enlightener of Alaska; St. Juvenaly and St. Peter the Aleut, the first martyrs of America; and St. Matushka Olga of Kwethluk, the Yup’ik mother and midwife newly glorified by the Church. You’ll also find the Sitka Mother of God, the wonderworking icon of St. Michael’s Cathedral in Sitka. Choose from icons mounted on wood, folding travel icons, icons in a decorative kiot, relic-soil icons, hand-written and iconostasis icons, and pocket icons in packs of 50 for parishes. As an Alaska shop, we keep these close to our hearts. See all our Matushka Olga icons.
