For centuries, Orthodox Christians have worn the Soldier’s Cross as a visible sign of their faith and commitment to follow Christ. The name reflects not military service alone, but the calling of every Christian to be a “soldier of Christ,”steadfast in prayer, courage, and faithfulness amid the spiritual struggles of life.
The front of the cross depicts the Crucifixion in the traditional Orthodox style. Alongside Christ’s Cross are the spear and the reed with the sponge, recalling the events of His Passion.
